I am an aspiring organic dairy farmer in the Waikato. We have a
major problem with pennyroyal on both our clay and sandy loam soils. We
are increasing lime applications and I am going to try the biodynamic
practice of peppering. Do you know of any other reccomended ways of
keeping this weed in check?
No particular organic remedies found other than the usual mechanical ploughing, stale seed bed
preparation, possibly green manure crops ( 2 in a crow) of buckwheat during the summer and re-sowing.
Sorry.
