Flax I read somewhere that NZ flax has many medicinal purposes for diary cows, if they chew the flax it help rid them or something, can someone please elaborate on this, what it is good for, if I remember correctly it was something to do with worms or something to this effect.

Flax and flaxmeal contain omega 3 which is an essential fatty acid. Flax has phytoestrogens and is anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-carcinogenic, as well as being an antioxidant. It has anti-inflammatory properties, decreases cholesterol and may prevent arthritis. It is high in boron, a trace mineral that helps the body hold onto calcium. It also helps give a shiny coat and prevent itching.
