Bee hives - removal
I have a hive of ground bees that have taken up residence next to one of my blueberry bushes. How can I remove them in the least invasive way possible without disturbing or poisoning my bush? Help! Thank you.
Jana K. Ball

Please consult your local beekeeper club/society to help remove the beehive (at night) without damaging the blueberry bush.

Other suggestions:

  • Spill petrol on the ground, this will kill the bees, but also the blueberries
  • Constantly dripping water above the hive and bushes. Bees donít like wet.
  • Bring in some horse stable smell - bees donít like it.
