 Back to the questions . . .
Verruocosis / Citrus Scab Hello, This is Diana Bergersen, Pyes Pa, Tauranga.
We have a fully Bio Gro property and successfully grow lemons with about 1
or 2 copper sprays a year. Last year I cut out the copper altogether
hoping that the general environment would cope with fungal disease. Some
susceptible Meyers now have a bad case of verrucosis which is gradually
spreading outwards to nearby trees. Are there other ways of controlling
verrucosis other than copper and would baking soda be useful?

I am afraid we have no 'safe' recipe for this. Citrus Scab is usually, even organically prevented with Copper sprays. However, the baking soda (2g/l) at two weekly intervals is worth giving it a try.
Cheers
